I am honored to be a candidate for the appointment to the Snohomish County
Council, to fill the vacancy left by Mike Cooper's departure.

I'm proud of my time elected to the Edmonds City Council, and just as proud
as the time I've spent both as a small business owner and former teacher.
At this site, you'll learn more about that background, some of my
achievements, and some of the challenges I see for us ahead.

Snohomish County is at the fore of so many key questions facing our region.
From effectively managing future growth, to fostering a climate of job
creation and economic recovery, Snohomish County should be a leader in
addressing these challenges first.

Other parts of our state look to us for leadership.  If I have the honor of
being appointed to serve on the County Council, I will work tirelessly to
make sure our Council continues to provide that leadership moving forward.

I would be honored to have your support!  Take a look at my website, and if
you'd like to be listed as a supporter, let me know and we'll list you here!

Sincerely,

"I've worked with DJ closely, both as
a Lynnwood City Council member and as Mike Cooper's aide on the County Council.
DJ has exactly the kind of experience,
energy and temperament the County
needs right now. I endorse him
unequivocally."
